Clients reviews about DPV Construction

David and his skilled carpenters at DPV have done several projects for me . On every occasion DPV exceeded my expectations for quality and on time performance. DPV always do the extra things that other tradies don't. They put drop sheets down for areas of the house they are walking through. They always have the right tool for the task at hand. David has a comprehensive knowledge of the building regulations. On finishing the job, they use vacuum cleaners to remove ALL their builder's debris. David arrives on the day he says he is going to ! ! ! I have seen hundreds of tradies over many years as a Commercial Builder. I have not seen a better team than DPV. With DPV you can be assured the job will be done correctly. ~ Steve S

The renovation on my 1910 Edwardian home was absolutely beautiful. I embarked on this as on my own and really needed a builder who would help me through the process. I could not have been happier with David, Mark and the team who gave me ideas along the way and accommodated the changes I made too. Their work is meticulous and to a very high standard, including the clean up along the way and was completed within the time frame, which is very important. Anything which needed changing was considered, discussed. and completed efficiently and pleasantly. The whole team were a delight to have in the house and I missed them all when they left! ~ Henry M

We are delighted we found David, Mark and all the team at DPV Construction for our renovation. They are personable, highly competent, professional, and wonderful to work with. The antithesis of the horror stories you hear about some builders. Even when a shortcut option was sometimes available for a difficult or time-consuming task, and we may have been OK with this option, David and Mark's direction to the team was always to do the job properly. And this was on a fixed price job, not to generate further income; they just want to do a great job. David's communication with us was strong; he spent quality time talking through his quotation, he ran all options past us as work progressed, and he kept us regularly updated on progress and spend for the variations we requested. He and the team also worked around our family well, given we did not relocate. The sub-contractors David recommended and employed were also first-class. We would choose to work with DPV again without hesitation, and highly recommend David and the team for anyone in Melbourne thinking about renovating. ~ Keith L

David and his team at DPV did a terrific job with our small renovation project. DPV were attentive, considerate, informative and completely professional in the way they went about the work. Not to mention an exceptionally high quality of finish and fastidious cleaning regime during and on completion of the works. Even the pressure of a last minute deadline did not faze them as they happily completed the works to meet our request. We have no hesitation in recommending DPV. ~ David J

DPV did an excellent job for us repairing and replacing our weather boards in preparation for painting. They also repaired the woodwork on a couple of windows to address rain damage and to help prevent further leaks. Their work was of such good quality our painters commented on the high standard of preparation of the wood, making their job much easier. DPV were great to deal with, very responsive, hard working and completely reliable. We will use them again if needed and highly recommend them. ~ Helen S

After recently purchasing a home, and then finding extensive hidden termite damage throughout multiple walls I thought I was in serious trouble. DPV construction came highly recommended from multiple people. David attended and put my mind at ease about the roof collapsing and cost to repair it. After two days the new walls were up and roof trusses were back up to the correct height. I can commend the high quality of work and price. I will be using DPV again. ~ Adam

David and his team were given a very short timeframe to complete some important renovations and repairs for a sale. They were easy to talk to, genuine and efficient. We couldn't be more pleased with how they approached the job, communicated with us and ultimately delivered the project. Variations and changes to scope were easy to manage and David was always on hand to answer a call. Can't recommend highly enough! ~ Will R

We were relieved to have found our perfect builder. The written quote and drawings were presented in a way we could understand. The workmanship from David is outstanding and we recommend him highly after watching him work on our substantial bathroom renovation and again repairs to the outside of our home. David took pictures to document his work when we were not able to view the results ourselves due to our accessibility. ~ Darren O

David and his team did excellent work repairing a wall and installing drainage to prevent our garage from flooding. The work was completed to the highest standard and seamlessly blended in with the rest of the house. All communication was clear, and everyone on site was professional at all times. We highly recommend DPV Construction. ~ David B

David was great to deal with and helped us on a smaller job. He responded to our request quickly and priced fairly, and did an excellent job on the day including arriving on time and showing us photos of the work that he did in our roof. Despite a busy schedule he fit our job in and I'd gladly reccomend David and his team. ~ Michael

The prompt professional service came with a smile, a quick quote with available options given as to how the job could be done. No messing around and the job was done in no time thanks to the ease of using online services. Will definitely use down the track and will highly recommend to my friends when asked if l know someone to refer... ~ eve h

David and the team at DPV did an excellent job for us. The quality of their work, how tidy they left the site every day and the calm and professional way they communicated with us, and our neighbours whilst they replaced our fence, was to the highest standard. We're so pleased with DPV we're getting them back to do more work. Highly recommended. ~ Peter J

David and his team built a wall in our carport, to match the existing exterior weatherboards of the house, including a "hidden" door made of weatherboards. They did an awesome job; really friendly, professional, tidy and all very skilled at what they do. Would definitely recommend and hope to use them again for some further work. :) ~ Le C

Thanks to the DPV team for all of your advice and guidance. We recommend DPV because they are so calm and professional. They've been around the traps enough to know how to add value to any project; in our case, it was discussing building permits, regulations, and adding terrific ideas to consider. ~ Nicko H
