David and his skilled carpenters at DPV have done several projects for me . On every occasion DPV exceeded my expectations for quality and on time performance. DPV always do the extra things that other tradies don't. They put drop sheets down for areas of the house they are walking through. They always have the right tool for the task at hand. David has a comprehensive knowledge of the building regulations. On finishing the job, they use vacuum cleaners to remove ALL their builder's debris. David arrives on the day he says he is going to ! ! ! I have seen hundreds of tradies over many years as a Commercial Builder. I have not seen a better team than DPV. With DPV you can be assured the job will be done correctly.

We are delighted we found David, Mark and all the team at DPV Construction for our renovation. They are personable, highly competent, professional, and wonderful to work with. The antithesis of the horror stories you hear about some builders. Even when a shortcut option was sometimes available for a difficult or time-consuming task, and we may have been OK with this option, David and Mark's direction to the team was always to do the job properly. And this was on a fixed price job, not to generate further income; they just want to do a great job.
David's communication with us was strong; he spent quality time talking through his quotation, he ran all options past us as work progressed, and he kept us regularly updated on progress and spend for the variations we requested. He and the team also worked around our family well, given we did not relocate.
The sub-contractors David recommended and employed were also first-class.
We would choose to work with DPV again without hesitation, and highly recommend David and the team for anyone in Melbourne thinking about renovating.

The renovation on my 1910 Edwardian home was absolutely beautiful. I embarked on this as on my own and really needed a builder who would help me through the process. I could not have been happier with David, Mark and the team who gave me ideas along the way and accommodated the changes I made too.
Their work is meticulous and to a very high standard, including the clean up along the way and was completed within the time frame, which is very important.
Anything which needed changing was considered, discussed. and completed efficiently and pleasantly.
The whole team were a delight to have in the house and I missed them all when they left!
